Check Task

Check Task is an Android app for tracking your tasks and goals. You write tasks into categories (“Files”), and the app reminds you with notifications so nothing slips — with your data synced to the cloud so it follows you across devices.

The app is open source on GitHub, with an APK release you can install.

Tech stack

A native Android app written in Java (Android Studio), backed by Firebase — Authentication for Google sign-in and Cloud Firestore for cloud-synced storage.

Built as a Mobile Application Development course project at Al-Ahgaff University, together with Abdullah Al-jofri.
